Dull Chrome Plating

Dull chrome plating is exactly the same process as Chrome plating but will give you a non-reflective finish. Some early British motorcycle parts such a fuel tap, oil lines, carburettors kick start levers were in this finish.

The finish can be varied to achieve a semi-bright Chrome or a sateen Chrome finish depending upon what is required? The level of protection is exactly the same as Chrome.

We have also offered this finish to our customers as an alternative to Cadmium alongside our dull Zinc finish. It does offer more protection than Zinc but is more expensive.
