Abrasive blasting or commonly known as sandblasting uses compressed air with an abrasive media chosen depending upon the material to be cleaned.

In our case we use a boron carbide abrasive which is small bead strong enough to remove rust and paint. But gentle enough not to damage the base material. Keeping the base material in its maximum metal condition is the most important in any restoration project.

Aluminium parts that are cracked, broken or damaged in anyway can be welded and polished prior to vapour blasting. Such as broken barrel fins, cracked engine cases, pitted, dented or have bits missing are all repairable with ourselves.

We have all the preparatory processes under one roof to strip, repair and produce a quality vapour blast finish to any given component.

A majority of vehicle parts are covered in paint, oil and grease which needs to be removed before they can be vapour blasted. We offer a complete service and we are able to clean and prepare the parts before vapour blasting.

Any parts found to be cracked or damaged can also be repaired by ourselves by welding and polishing before vapour blasting.

Ultrasonic cleaning is an ideal way of cleaning tired and gummed up carburetors. The problem with carburetors is that they are comparatively small and very complex. Ultrasonic cleaning uses high frequency sound waves to clean at a microscopic level and is ideal for cleaning small galleries and jets.
